Developed by Feldenkrais practitioner Michael Krugman, the SounderSleepSystem® includes breathing techniques and movement exercises that help your body and mind to relax and sleep again.
This approach to insomnia is safe, gentle, easy to learn and it works. If your source of insomnia is primarily stress related, SounderSleepSystem® is the ideal approach to overcome insomnia  and restore restful nighttime sleep. If your source of insomnia is physiological, this system will assist you to relax better and balance out any negative side effects that arise from chronic sleep deprivation.

Small Group Sessions For Insomnia

The small group sessions of maximum three people is an opportunity to learn in a very private and almost one-on-one environment. Participants can join with their friends or anyone who is interested to join a group. We meet for three two-hour-long sessions (three consecutive weeks) plus one hour review session. Dates and times can be coordinated according to the group's need. The meetings can either be held inside the Mt Tam Racquet Club or at Marion's practice in San Rafael. Groups can form at any time.This set-up provides greater flexibility for scheduling as well as more individual attention compared to a larger workshop.

SounderSleepSystem Mini Group: this program is based on Michael Kruegman's SounderSleepSystem, a somatic approach to healing insomnia. The System consists of  gentle, yet remarkably effective physical movement and breathing techniques that are practiced during the day and at bedtime. In this workshop, participants learn three types of techniques: Natural breathing techniques, DayTamers and Mini Moves." The learning itself is pleasurable and along with sleeping better, you'll also improve your overall health and make your life easier".
